Location Summary Report [Beta]

Review home plans, customer activity, plan usage, and lot status across your locations or within one location.

Before you start

Your account must have Location Summary enabled, and you need the View Location Summary permission. The Admin role has this permission by default.

To open home plans or lots from the report, you also need permission to view those records.

Open the report

  1. Select Locations in the navigation.

  2. Select Summary to view the report across your account’s active locations.

To focus on one location:

  1. Select the Locations tab.

  2. Open the location you want to review.

  3. Select Summary.

If the location has sub-locations, Include sub-locations is selected by default. Clear it to show only records assigned directly to the selected location.

Review the home plan summary

The Home Plan Breakdown section shows these metrics for the locations included in the report:

  • Total Home Plans: The number of non-archived home plans. Where lots are available, the caption also shows how many plans are assigned to lots.

  • New Web Leads: Home plans created from web leads in the last seven days.

  • Unique Customers: The number of distinct customers associated with home plans.

  • Med. Home Price: The median home price, excluding prices that are zero or missing.

  • Lots Sold: The percentage and count of lots with the Sold status. Lots with the Closed status are counted separately in the lot breakdown.

Compare phases and customer statuses

Home Plan Details groups home plans by phase: Plan Prep, Pre-Construction, and Construction. Each phase is broken down into Testing, Contract, Prospect, and Inactive customer statuses.

  1. Select # to view counts.

  2. Select % to view each count as a percentage of all home plans included in the report.

When viewing an individual location, you can open the records behind the summary:

  1. Select a linked phase name to open Home Plans filtered to that phase.

  2. Select a linked value within a phase row to filter by both phase and customer status.

Links appear for nonzero counts when you have permission to view home plans. They are not available in the account-wide summary.

Compare plan usage

Plans on Homes shows how many home plans use each plan name and what percentage of the selected total each represents. Plans are ranked by the number of homes.

  1. Select All, 6M, 3M, or 1M to view all home plans or those created in the last six, three, or one month.

  2. Select See more plans, when available, to expand the list.

  3. Select See fewer to return to the shorter list.

The shorter list shows the top five plan names. The expanded list shows up to ten, plus available plans with no homes in the selected period. Other combines homes using plan names that are not listed individually.

The date range applies only to Plans on Homes. It does not change the metrics, Home Plan Details, or Lot Breakdown.

Review lot status

Lot Breakdown groups lots by Available, Unavailable, Pending, Sold, and Closed status. The columns separate Standard, Model, and Spec lots.

  1. Select # to view counts.

  2. Select % to view each count as a percentage of all lots included in the report.

When viewing an individual location:

  1. Select View Lots to open the lot list.

  2. Select a linked lot status to open the list filtered to that status.

These links require permission to view lots. Lot metrics and the lot breakdown may be hidden when lots are not available for the selected location.

Refresh the report

The Updated timestamp shows when the report data was calculated. Recent changes may not appear immediately.

  1. Check the Updated timestamp.

  2. Select Refresh when available.

Refresh becomes available two hours and 30 minutes after the report’s previous calculation. While it is unavailable, hover over the control to see the approximate wait time.

After refreshing, the report displays the recalculated data and an updated timestamp.

Common issues

Why can’t I see the Summary tab?

  • Location Summary must be enabled for your account, and you need the View Location Summary permission.

Why does Plans on Homes show “No homes in this date range”?

  • No home plans were created in the selected period. Select another date range or All.

Why don’t the report totals include archived records?
