Before you start
The redesigned Lots table is available with account configuration. Contact your Higharc CSM for access.
You need permission to view lots. Editing requires permission to manage lots.
Open the Lots table
Open the location you want to manage in Config.
Select Lots.
When a parent location includes lots from child locations, the table shows their Location. These lots are read-only in the parent view. Open the lot’s own location by clicking its name in the table to make changes.
Choose which columns to show
Open the three-dot menu at the far right of the table’s column headers.
In Column Visibility, select a checkbox to show a column.
Clear a checkbox to hide a column.
Close the menu using the X.
Available columns include Lot Number, Status, Designation, Released, Premium ($), Phase, Block, Garage Handing, Address, Lot Series, Lot Types, Lot Features, Width, Depth, Area, and Plans Available.
Your column selection is retained when you reload the page. Select Reset to Default to restore the default selection.
Filter the lot list
Select Filters above the table.
Open a filter dropdown.
Select one or more values. The table updates as you select them.
Add another filter to narrow the results further.
Filters are grouped into:
General: Status, Phase, and Block.
Lot: Designation, Lot Area, Lot Width, Lot Depth, Plans Available, and Released.
Lot Area, Lot Width, and Lot Depth use predefined ranges. Released lets you filter for released or unreleased lots.
Selecting multiple values within one filter includes lots matching any selected value. Combining different filters includes lots matching all those filters. For example, selecting Available under Status and Unreleased under Released shows available lots that have not been released.
The count above the table shows the matching lots out of the total.
Remove filters
Open a filter and clear selected values to remove individual criteria.
Select Clear All Filters above the table to remove every active filter.
Filter selections are included in the page URL. Reloading the page or opening the same URL restores those filters.
Changing filters removes selected lots that no longer match. Review the selected rows before applying a bulk edit.
Add a lot
Select Add Lot.
Find the new lot in the table.
Edit its information as needed.
Higharc creates one lot with the next available lot number and displays a confirmation.
Edit a lot
Clear any selected rows before making an individual edit.
Find the lot you want to edit.
Select an editable field.
Enter a value or choose an option.
For text and number fields, click outside the field to save the change.
Use Designation for the lot’s standard, spec, or model designation. Lot Types and Lot Features hold separate lists of lot details. Enter multiple values separated by commas.
An address shown as placeholder text may be inherited from the location. Enter an Address to set an address for that lot.
Alternatively, click the overflow menu next to the lot > Edit lot details and fill in details in a dedicated lot page.
Apply bulk edits
Filter the table to find the lots you want to update, if needed.
Select the checkbox beside each lot you want to edit.
Check the selected count.
Edit the relevant cell in one of the selected rows.
Review the updated values across the selected lots.
Clear the selection when finished.
Supported bulk-edit fields include Status, Designation, Released, Premium ($), Phase, Block, Garage Handing, Lot Series, Lot Types, Lot Features, Width, Depth, Area, and changes to Plans Available.
Lot Number and Address apply only to the row you edit. Location is not edited through a cell.
Only editable lots in the current location whose Home Plans remain in Plan Preparation can be selected.
Note: While lots are selected, supported cell edits apply to the selected group. Editing a supported cell in an unselected row also includes that row in the change.
Choose plans available on a lot
Clear selected rows if you want to update only one lot.
Open the selector under Plans Available.
Select a plan to make it available.
Clear a selected plan to remove its availability.
The cell shows the number of selected plans. With multiple lots selected, adding or removing a plan applies that change across the selected group.
The default view hides detached plans. Turn on the Detached Plans toggle to see and select them. See Locking & Detaching Home Plans.
Upload a lot list
Required and optional CSV fields
Lot Number is the only required column. Every data row must contain a lot number. Each row must have a unique combination of Lot Number, Phase, and Block.
Other supported columns are optional: Lot ID, External ID, External URL, Status, Spec, Premium, Phase, Block, Address, Allowed Plans, Released At, Series, Width, Depth, Area, Lot Features, Lot Types, and Garage Handing.
CSV headers differ from some table labels. Spec corresponds to Designation, Series to Lot Series, and Allowed Plans to Plans Available. Use the headers from a downloaded CSV.
Prepare a CSV file with a Lot Number column and a value for every row.
Select Upload .CSV.
Choose your file.
Review the validation results and correct any errors.
Select Upload.
After a successful upload, the table refreshes and displays Uploaded lot list.
Use a CSV to bulk edit existing lots
Open the location that owns the lots you want to update.
Select Download .CSV to get their current data.
Save a copy of the original file.
Open the CSV in a spreadsheet application.
Keep only the rows for the lots you want to update.
Keep the exported Lot ID values and the Lot Number column.
Edit the values you want to change. Preserve the other columns and values.
Save the edited file as a CSV.
Select Upload .CSV in the same location.
Choose the edited file.
Review the validation results.
Select Upload.
Check the updated lots in the table.
For example, to change premiums for several existing lots, download the lot list, keep those lots’ rows, change their Premium values, and upload the edited CSV.
With Lot ID present, Higharc matches each row to that existing lot. Do not change or invent these IDs. Keeping the IDs also lets you update Lot Number, Phase, or Block without relying on those values to identify the lot.
Without Lot ID, Higharc matches a row by its combination of Lot Number, Phase, and Block within the location. If that combination does not match an existing lot, Higharc creates a new lot.
Lots omitted from the file are not deleted.
Note: Start from a fresh download and preserve values you do not intend to change. Blank or omitted Status defaults to Available, and blank or omitted Spec defaults to Standard. Blank or omitted Block, Series, Lot Types, Lot Features, and External URL clear those values. A blank Allowed Plans cell removes the lot’s available-plan assignments. Do not assume blank cells or removed columns leave existing values unchanged.
Download the lot list
Select Download .CSV.
Higharc downloads the location’s lot data as a CSV file.
What happens next
Saved changes appear in the table. After a bulk edit, review the affected rows to confirm the intended values.
Common issues
Why is a dimension filter disabled?
Lot Area, Lot Width, or Lot Depth is disabled when the lots have no data for that field.
Why can’t I select or edit a lot?
You need permission to manage lots. Lots from child locations are read-only in the parent view. Home Plan phases can also restrict selection and editing.
Why can’t I change garage handing?
Garage handing is not supported for lots in Multi-Unit locations.
