Walking a buyer through the New Showroom (continued)
This section follows one appointment from start to finish. Each step tells you what stays the same, what is different, and what to do.
Talk price
Status: New way.
Today
The pricing and options live in a bar along the bottom of the screen: Base Price, Lot Premium, Options, Adjustments, Total, and a Save button. It is a separate place you point at.
Current experience: the price bar sits at the bottom of the screen.
After the upgrade
The plan name and the total price sit in the header of the options panel and stay on screen the whole time — the buyer never loses sight of the number. This gives the buyer clarity and confidence in the moment they’re making decisions, rather than getting bogged down in details.
Plan stats sit directly beneath it: beds, baths, garage and square footage.
Every option card carries its own price delta — "+$0", "Base", "Included" — right where the buyer is making the decision, so the cost of a choice is attached to the choice.
This change respects whether you show or hide pricing in your experiences.
Upgrade: plan name, total and plan stats live in the panel header and stay visible.
Review the selections
Status: Minor change.
Everything you need to move from conversation to close all in one view. Click Review Selections in the header and you land on a dedicated Plan Review page with the home, the price and three tabs.
Summary | Plan Summary — Total, Base Home, Lot Premium, Option Upgrades and Adjustments — plus the Customer Info form. |
Option Upgrades | Only what the buyer changed from base, grouped by category with a count badge on each. This is the list you read back to them. |
All Options | Every selection in the home including base choices and uncategorised items — the completeness check. |
Summary tab: plan totals on top, Customer Info beneath.
Option Upgrades tab: only the changes, grouped by category with counts.
All Options tab: the full picture, base selections included.
Run the review out loud, category by category, before anyone signs anything. A missed option caught here is a change order avoided later — that is the whole point of the tab.
REVIEW SCRIPT
“Before we go any further, let me read back exactly what you have chosen so there are no surprises. Ten upgrades — one in design, one at the entry, four in bed and bath, one outdoor, three in the garage. Is that the home you want?”
Capture the lead
Status: Unchanged.
Customer Info sits on the Summary tab of the Review step. This includes the First Name (required), Last Name, and any other fields you may set up (email, phone number, etc.). Fill it in and click Email me my saved home plan to save the configuration against that buyer. None of the fields that you use today will change.
