October 20th, 2026 šŸ  Explore with Confidence: Showroom Interior Views & One-Click Reset

Higharc Release Notes

Highlights

Interior Category Views — Sales categories can now open buyers straight into the dollhouse view. Set a category such as Living to Interior, and buyers land inside the home as soon as they open it. They see the rooms that matter without hunting for the interior view.

Reset to Original Conditions — Showroom Intro has a new 'Reset to original' button. Buyers can return the house to its original state with one click, so they can explore and compare options freely, then start over without undoing each selection.

Configure Home Plans Permissions — Admins can now choose who can change option choices on home plans in the plan preparation, pre-construction and construction phases. Users without permission can still view the plan and update customer info and price adjustments, so option selections stay protected without slowing down the sales team.

āœļø For Design & Drafting

This release brings a number of performance-related enhancements. When you change something in Studio, it now updates only the parts affected by that change. Most tasks will feel quicker, especially in large plans with lots of options.

Faster Studio

  • Studio now stays responsive on documents with a large number of option sets.

  • Search filtering in lists and the explorer is faster.

  • Adding a new annotation to a document or drawing template no longer recalculates every other annotation.

  • Adding or moving a viewport in a content template no longer regenerates the other viewports.

  • Editing notes on model-only drawing templates is faster, because annotations are no longer fully regenerated after each edit.

  • Regenerating plan sets after changing only sheet parameters is much faster.

Doc Ref Inspector

  • Toggling checkboxes and using Check All is much faster on large dependency trees.

  • Option sets and linked options now appear in separate lists, consistent with the inspector, so they are easier to navigate.

Casework and Drawing Instances

  • Dynamic casework now supports percentage-based lateral offsets, so items can be centered relative to the perpendicular edge.

  • The Drawing Instance toolbar now defaults to the last selected drawing template, matching how windows, doors and props behave.

Inspector Panel Styling

  • Inspector rows with a gear icon now match other row types in width, placement and alignment, and inputs no longer sit too far left or too close to the edges.

  • Trailing columns and settings icons are now aligned in the Door, Window, descriptor, Interior Door Casing and View Notes inspectors.

  • Settings panels for Interior Trim, Exterior Trim, Foundation Conditions, Plan, Porch, Railing and Stair construction have more consistent alignment and styling.

Fixes!

  • ā†©ļø Correction: Electrical Layout Names - In our September 22nd, 2026 release, Electrical Layout options were renamed to load-agnostic names, since they can place any load type, not just outlets or lights.

    • Standard Outlets is now Edge Loads

    • Single Light is now Single Load

    • Four Lights is now Four Loads.

In the Edge Loads inspector, Outlet Spacing is now Load Spacing and Single Outlet Max is now Single Load Max. Your existing layouts work the same way.

  • Upper Cabinets now default to a Vertical Offset that keeps them in view, so you no longer need to reset it to 0 on every new cabinet.

  • The top Done button no longer exits Component Edit Mode while another command, such as Shape Edit Mode, is still in progress.

  • The 3D view now updates its highlight immediately when you hover or select an entity in plan view in split view.

  • Detaching multiple component instances at once now creates separate Floor Systems and Foundation Systems for each instance.

  • Floor Systems inside a component now appear in 2D views in component edit mode and in Foundation view.

  • Floor Systems and Foundations section headers can no longer be expanded or collapsed when all their contents are inside components.

  • Edge-hosted stairs modeled inside a component now stay connected to their hosting room edge in component instances.

  • Component instances now show wall poche over wall cuts in dollhouse view.

  • Setting a casework element's Plan Line Style to Poche on all four edges no longer makes other casework and props disappear from the Live Plan.

  • A facade can now correctly infill a brick ledge on a freeform foundation.

  • Disabling foundations at the level now keeps the exterior wall face, matching the behavior when disabling at the room.

  • A stair block's edge host can no longer be set to itself, which caused the block to jump between positions.

  • Weld Room Edges and Weld Vertices now work on colinear edges.

  • The catalog Usages count no longer undercounts usages of electrical and wall settings.

  • If a document fails to load, Studio now shows a read-only error and prompts a reload instead of risking an overwrite of your real document.

šŸ–¼ļø For Sales & Marketing

Sales Category Views

  • The sales Category View Setting now includes an Interior option, so buyers open into the interior dollhouse view automatically for sales categories set as Interior for Showroom.

  • Exterior and Plan now resets buyers out of interior view when they enter a category.

Home Plan Permissions and Workflow

  • New permissions let admins restrict who can configure home plans in the plan preparation, pre-construction and construction phases. When accessing a home plan, users without permission see a 'View home plan' link to the public home plan instead of the 'Configure home plan' button.

  • Sales agents can now enter a customer name and mark a contract on inventory and model home plans in the pre-construction phase. The standard home plan workflow is unchanged.

  • A new Sales > Home Plans setting, 'Show home plan ID on public link', lets you hide the home plan ID on public home plan links. It is enabled by default.

Showroom Intro

  • A new 'Reset to original' button returns the house to its original state. This button can be edited to change the name in configure mode.

  • Builders can show or hide the Share button in Showroom Intro through a global account setting, while the Save button remains available.

  • Builders can turn the Marketing Consent form on or off in the customer information tab.

  • The disclosure text now has comfortable side spacing and reads as a single paragraph, with no wording changes.

Showroom Experience

  • You can now keep 'Always highlight selected options in 2D floor plan' enabled while Showroom still switches to the correct floor when an option is selected.

Coming Soon: Customizable Showroom Emails

You can now brand and customize the emails your buyers get from Showroom across your business, so every message looks and sounds like it came from your sales agents. This update will be automatically turned on for your account Tuesday, October 27th evening. For questions reach out to your Client Strategy Manager.

Customize your buyer Plan Save and Share emails

Edit the subject, header, body, link text and contact info for two types of emails:

  • Plan Save: sent when a buyer saves a home plan

  • Share: sent when a plan is shared from Showroom or Showroom Intro

You can add personalization tokens, like your company name, to fill in details automatically.

  • Send from your own name and address. Set the sender name, sender email and reply-to address, so buyer replies go straight to your team.

  • Add your branding. Upload your logo and adjust the email styling. A live preview shows how each email will look as you edit.

  • Choose who gets copied. Pick who receives builder notifications and customer confirmations, with separate CC and BCC lists.

  • Add your legal footer. Include your compliance and disclaimer text. Share emails can have their own disclaimer. Footer automatically includes your legal name and address which comes from the Builder Info tab in settings.

  • Built-in protections. Templates with broken tokens can’t be saved, so buyers never see a broken email. Every buyer email includes an unsubscribe link, and buyers who unsubscribe aren’t emailed again.

Getting started

Go to Account → Sales Config → Emails.

Option Catalog

  • The Lots filter and Lot Number columns now show block and phase, so lots that share a number can be told apart and selected individually.

Fixes!

  • Showroom Intro no longer shows a non-functional close button when embedded via iframe instead of the script embed.

  • The required 'Name your plan' field on the public sales map home plan request form now has an asterisk like the other required fields.

  • Creating a home plan from the Showroom Intro or public configure call to action now opens the Plan Overview instead of a broken route.

🧾 For Estimating

Exterior Finishes and Trim

  • Exterior Finishes and Exterior Trim components now include a Catalog Type attribute so you can break out materials by facade zone in Estimate. The value is blank when the finish or trim isn't generated via a facade.

BOM and Viewports

  • The BOM table now has a column selector for showing or hiding columns.

Fixes!

  • Doors from user-defined catalogs now report the prop's name instead of its UID in the Prop Name attribute, including in the Estimate Doors table.

šŸ§‘ā€šŸ’» For API Users

ERP Integrations

  • The example webhook payload shown in the app now reflects split name fields and the marketing and SMS consent fields.
