During the home configuration process, Linked Options work behind the scenes to automatically adjust pricing and codes based on selected options. The homebuyer interacts only with standard options in buyer-facing categories, while the system manages all option relationships and price adjustments automatically.
When options are selected in Showroom:
Buyers see only standard options in buyer-facing categories.
The system monitors option selections in real-time.
Price adjustments occur automatically when linked conditions are met.
Builder codes update dynamically for export.
Once selections are finalized, the Home Plan CSV provides a complete mapping of all options and their corresponding ERP codes.
Things to keep in mind:
Keep Linked Option Sets in the Operations category to prevent buyer visibility.
Linked Options generate automatically based on selected combinations.
Price adjustments update in real-time as selections change.
Builder codes in the CSV export reflect all active option combinations.
