Option data can be managed at both the master plan and community plan level, and all customizations and updates made at each respective level will be reflected in Showroom. The type of customizations that could be made include, but are not limited to, setting option prices, uploading sales images, and modifying option descriptions. Use these features outlined below to help create a more compelling experience for the buyer while customizing their home.
This page organizes options by their default sales category as displayed in Showroom (see Sales Categories), and allows default pricing, information, base options and availability to be overridden for a specific master plan or community plan.
Allows navigation from the community plan to specific lots, where lot-specific option details can be configured.
Opens a menu from which the plan name and base pricing can be updated, alongside links to Studio files, showroom, etc.
Mass Override allows changing the Sales Category for several options in bulk.
Sales Categories determine how options are grouped and displayed in Showroom. To create and manage Sales Categories, see Sales Categories.
Checking “Disabled Options” shows only options that are disabled for the plan.
Checking “Empty Categories” shows categories that do not have any options assigned.
Allows dragging and dropping of categories and their associated options to modify the order in which they appear on this page and in Showroom.
Enables or disables a category and all its associated options. To retrieve options disabled this way, check the “Disabled Options” box at the top of the page and click on the disabled toggle.
Opens a menu that updates how the category is displayed in Showroom and what its base option should be.
Make sure to click the “Save Overrides” button at the top of the page to save changes before navigating away.
Uploading Sales Image and Option Descriptions
Sales images and option descriptions may be uploaded to any option set or option upgrade at both the master or community plan level.
Choose the three dots next to any option to Edit Details.
Choose to enter an option Description.
Choose to upload a Sales Image (recommended file size 5 MB or smaller).
Submit and click “Save Overrides” at the top of the page to save changes before navigating away.
To view these options in Showroom, go to the 3-dots in the upper right, click on View in Showroom.
Sales images and option descriptions are visible in Showroom View for the respective plan and option.
Overriding Option Rules
Option Rule effects created in Studio can be overridden in specific Master Plans, Community Plans and Lot-Specific Plans.
To override several option rules at once, click “Edit Option Rules” at the top of the Master or Community Plan page. This will open a window showing all active Option Rules in the Community Plan.
Click the > arrow next to an option rule name to view the rule’s effects and modify them. The overridden effects will only apply to the selected plan.
Individual options that are affected by a rule will have a badge showing the number of rules that apply to them. Clicking on the badge opens a menu with the following:
A description of triggers
A list of effects and a dropdown menu to modify them
A lavender-colored highlight to indicate the option being modified
Click “Save Overrides” at the top of the page to save changes before navigating away.
Notes:
Clicking on “Discard Overrides” at the top of the page will also discard Option Rule overrides.
To discard only Option Rule overrides, click “Edit Option Rules” > hover over the “Overridden” badge and click “Discard Overrides.”
To disable an Option Rule for a plan, set all option effects for that rule to “None.”
To create Option Rules in Studio, see Create Option Rules.

Visit the Location Page and select Update Pricing
Select Choose File and upload the .csv template (see template below)
Note: A successful CSV file upload requires that the community plan template code, master plan template code and option ID match existing records of options and the community plan and master plan the option comes from.
Once a plan has been configured to this point, it can be used in Showroom to support the sales experience.
