Configuring Price Visibility

Learn how to configure where location level prices are displayed.

The Pricing Display Visibility settings provide greater flexibility in making pricing visible to specific audiences. It allows pricing to be hidden on public Showroom links for prospective or current homebuyers to reduce confusion without also hiding prices from internal Higharc users.

Pricing visibility functions similarly to the Higharc plan hierarchy. There is a global account-level setting that applies as a default to Locations as well as a Location-specific override. It may be useful to hide pricing in Communities that are not yet ready for launch while displaying them in Communities that are actively selling. Continue below for instructions to enable global settings and location-level overrides.

Configuring Global Settings

  1. Go to Account Settings.

  2. Select the "Pricing Visibility" tab.

  3. Toggle on "Pricing Visibility Settings".

  4. You'll see several pricing visibility options that can be individually enabled or disabled. Each setting controls where prices appear:

    • Community Plans — Controls whether prices are shown in location plan lists. When enabled, plan base prices and option pricing are visible in the plans tab at any location.

    • Internal Location and Home Plan Links — Controls whether prices are shown on internal (staff-facing) links to locations and home plans. These links are typically used by sales teams and internal users.

    • Public Location and Home Plan Links — Controls whether prices are shown on public-facing links to locations and home plans. These are the links shared with prospective homebuyers.

    • Option Summary — Controls whether plan and option pricing is displayed on the option summary page within home plans. This is the detailed breakdown of selected options and their costs.

    • Sales Brochure — Controls whether the price of each configured option is displayed in generated sales brochures. This only applies when the Options Page is enabled in brochure settings.

    • Public Sales Map — Controls whether prices are displayed on the public sales map, including lot premiums and plan prices visible to buyers browsing the map.

  5. Select your desired settings

  6. Click Save (these settings will apply to all downstream locations by default).

Tip: You can enable pricing for internal audiences (e.g., Community Plans and Internal Links) while keeping it hidden from external audiences (e.g., Public Links and Sales Brochure). This is useful during pre-launch when pricing is still being finalized.

Configuring Location-Specific Settings

Location-level settings supersede the account-level settings for specific locations. In the introductory example, these settings allow prices that are normally visible to be disabled in specific locations.

  1. Navigate to a specific location.

  2. Click "Edit Community/Location Details".

  3. Go to Settings.

  4. Look for "Pricing Visibility" toggle.

    1. Toggling this setting off will disable pricing for the selected Location entirely.

  5. To customize settings for this specific location, toggle on "Override Price Visibility Settings".

  6. Adjust individual visibility settings as needed. The same six settings described in Global Settings above can be toggled independently at each location:

    • Enable for internal documents (Community Plans, Internal Location and Home Plan Links, Option Summary).

    • Disable for external-facing content (Public Location and Home Plan Links, Sales Brochure, Public Sales Map).

  7. Click Save Changes.

Note: Changing pricing visibility at a higher-level location does not automatically override settings at child locations that have their own overrides configured. Each location with an active override manages its own pricing visibility independently.
