Config Overview
Config and all of its related features are accessible via the Builder Dashboard. Some pages on the Dashboard are restricted to specific user roles – a general overview of the differences between each role could be found below.
Understanding User Types
There are 4 types of builder user roles:
Admin - The highest builder specific role with no limitations within the scope of a builder.
Sales Manager - Full builder specific permissions with the exception of the following actions (that are Admin only):
Changing the builder’s account info like name and logo, etc
Inviting new users to the builder account
Sales Staff - This is a limited role for sales focused staff with reduced permissions. This user can access sales features, when enabled, and manage the home plans they are assigned to
Field Staff - A user, much like Sales Staff, that has reduced permissions. They do not have access to sales features or the ability to manage locations, lots, or home plans, but unlike sales staff, they can download resources such as the Bill of Materials, DXF, and plan set PDFs for homes
Drafter - A drafting user with access to Studio, Estimate, and a limited view into Locations and Home Plans.
Users in Multiple Building Accounts
Some users may be a part of more than one builder account. In that case, users can easily navigate from one account to another from the user menu.
