September 22, 2026 🏠 Capture More: Lead Capture Upgrades & Custom Lot Statuses

Higharc Release Notes

Highlights

Upgraded Lead Capture in Showroom — Lead capture forms now split Full Name into separate First and Last Name fields, accept phone numbers up to 15 digits, and support up to 10 custom fields. You can set each field to required, optional, or off directly from settings, and buyers opt into marketing communications through a separate checkbox that is unchecked by default.

Custom Lot Statuses and Colors — You can now customize the lot statuses and colors shown on your sales map from Account Settings > Sales > Maps. Default colors follow the Okabe-Ito palette for colorblindness accessibility, font color adjusts automatically for contrast, and any custom Spec and Model labels you already use carry over.

Custom Props from Imported 3D Geometry — You can now import your own 3D geometry assets to use as custom Props in Studio, with support for the FBX file format. This brings builder-specific fixtures, furniture, and site elements directly into your models.

✏️ For Design & Drafting

Text Wrapping in Notes and Leaders

  • Notes and Leaders can now wrap text across multiple lines, using a defined Width and Height.

Custom Props via 3D Geometry Import

  • You can import 3D geometry assets to use as custom Props. Higharc now supports the FBX file format.

Block Name in Live Plans

  • A BlockName parameter is now exposed, so you can report the Block Name in your Live Plans documentation and drawing sets.

File Management from the Studio Dashboard

  • Users with Owner or Editor permissions can rename files and manage authors directly from the Studio File Dashboard, without opening each file.

Optionally remove End Caps for Vaulted Ceilings.

  • Users can now optionally remove the end caps in the roof for vaulted ceilings.

🖼️ For Sales & Marketing

⚙️ Config

Custom Lot Statuses and Colors

  • Lot statuses and colors displayed on the sales map are now customizable. Go to Account Settings > Sales > Maps to configure colors and labels for existing lot statuses, then click Save at the bottom of the page.

    • Default lot status colors follow the Okabe-Ito color palette for colorblindness accessibility.

    • Font color is set automatically to black or white to maintain contrast.

    • Custom labels for Spec and Model homes carry over automatically and do not need to be recreated.

    • Labels that are not shown in the legend remain accessible in the Lots menu for internal use.

🏡 Showroom

Lead Capture Form and Settings

  • Phone number fields now accept up to 15 digits, so international and extension-based numbers can be captured.

  • Full Name is now split into separate First Name and Last Name fields for cleaner buyer records.

  • The custom field limit has increased from 5 to 10, giving you more room to collect the information you need.

  • Lead capture fields can be set to required, optional, or off directly from settings. Customer Name is the exception, as it is always required.

  • A transactional and phone-contact disclosure block now appears below the submit button.

  • A separate marketing consent checkbox is unchecked by default, so buyers opt in intentionally.

Lot and Image Handling

  • Lot status transitions are now blocked when multiple Home Plans exist on a lot.

  • Sales image uploads that exceed the recommended size requirements now show a non-blocking warning and recommendation instead of being rejected.

🧾 For Estimating

Attribute and Category Updates

  • Added a Material attribute to the Soffit category, so soffit quantities can be filtered, broken out, and mapped by finish type such as vinyl, wood, or composite.

  • Added Area as an available filter for the Floor Structure category, enabling tiered pricing by square footage.

  • Added Level, Room Type, Room Name, and Material attributes to the Columns category for more granular control over different types and applications of columns. Architectural columns with multiple materials report all materials.

  • Standardized a Catalog Type attribute across Doors, Windows, Electrical (previously Type), and Fixtures & Appliances (previously Prop Name). This attribute reports the name of the catalog entry, so entities managed in Studio catalogs are easier to handle.

  • Standardized a Reported Name attribute across Electrical and Fixtures & Appliances, alongside the existing attribute on Doors and Windows, for more consistent reporting.

  • Renamed Electrical Group to Class, and Fixtures & Appliances Type to Category.

  • Deprecated the ID attribute on Fixtures & Appliances.

Drawer-Based Table Editing

  • The Item, Cost Code, and Custom Field management tables in the Integrations section of Estimate now use a drawer-based editing experience, making it easier to see and edit every field associated with a row.

Fixes!

  • Interior Door and Window Trim components are no longer reported in Estimates when interior casing is disabled in Studio settings.

  • Exterior trim components are now generated for Garage Single and Garage Double Operation Type doors.

🧑‍💻 For API Users

Showroom Webhook Additions

  • firstName and lastName are now provided alongside the existing name field, reflecting the split of first and last names in the lead capture form.

  • marketingConsent and smsConsent captured through Showroom Intro are now available in the webhook payload.
