Upcoming Townhomes Feature Set Launch.
The week of August 11, we're releasing a significant volume of new functionality supporting townhomes and other multi-unit attached buildings: Modeling Components, freeform foundations and floors, Levels and datum improvements, reporting units, and composite level views in Studio; a new Buildings location level with lot-to-unit mapping and per-unit options in Config; and unit-focused viewing in Showroom. Be on the lookout for comprehensive release notes to be published Monday, August 10 in-app and in the Higharc Knowledge Center.
Room Edge Openings can now cut through Foundations
Added support for room edge openings to cut through freeform foundations where geometrically proximate, enabling users to model openings on basement walls using freeform foundations.
Fixes!
Fixed an issue where freeform floors combined with freeform foundation linework did not render solid lines correctly, producing output inconsistent with room-generated foundations.
Fixed an issue where the garage foundation did not move with the rest of the component instance when a datum height offset was applied, causing it to remain at grade level.
