July 28, 2026 📐 Plugged In: New Electrical Symbols & Mapping Notes

Higharc Release Notes

✏️ For Design & Drafting

New Electrical Symbols Added to Studio

  • Updated outlet symbols to support Single, Duplex, Triplex, and Quad outlets.

  • Introduced a new 'High Voltage Outlet' symbol for 220V and 240V outlets.

  • Added Switched outlets.

  • Introduced a new Dimmer Switch controller type.

  • Added Framed Circle (Recessed style light) and Square shapes.

  • Added a "Text Only" load.

Other Studio Improvements

  • Improved the Studio Command Bar search results, so that it’s easier to search for Commands with multiple words.

Fixes!

  • Fixed an issue where finish area totals were miscounted in schedule data tables when the Detail column was hidden, causing double-counting of totals.

  • Fixed a bug where Data Tables incorrectly stripped leading zeros from numeric Option Codes (e.g., displaying '75' instead of '0075').

🖼️ For Sales & Marketing

Showroom Intro Update

  • You can now search the options panel instead of scrolling through it. Open search from the panel control or press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows) while Showroom Intro is open.

Showroom Settings Update

  • Previously, options you'd already selected could lose their blue highlight when you toggled additional options. A new toggle in the Views tab of Sales Settings keeps selected options consistently highlighted.

Config Update

  • The Option Catalog now allows Lot Option Templates to be configured in mass for a given set of locations. This speeds up workflows related to lot-specific configurations, such as disabling a specific elevation across all plans assigned to a set of lots. To see this update, a hard refresh may be required while viewing the Option Catalog. For more information, refer to this Help Article.

🧾 For Estimating

Mapping & BOM Improvements

  • Unused cost codes are now filtered out from the BOM page when Show inactive mappings and cost codes is checked.

Fixes!

  • Fixed an issue where inactive option-conditioned items with zero quantities were incorrectly included in BOM exports even when 'show inactive mappings and cost codes' was unchecked, for both standard and master view exports.

  • Improved performance on the Measure page by adding pagination to reduce the number of measure groups rendered on screen at once.

  • Fixed a performance issue where hovering over a row in a Measure Group Table caused all measure group tables to unnecessarily re-render.
