July 7, 2026 📐 Section Call Outs and Showroom Look and Feel

Higharc Release Notes

✏️ Studio

Section Callouts

  • Section callout symbols now display automatically on plans at the location of each section cut. Each callout displays the corresponding sheet number and viewport number, so you can easily find the referenced section drawing in your plan set.

  • To turn on Section Callouts, add a Callout Label to your Section View, and make sure that Callouts are visible in your View Template.

Other Improvements

  • Added new electrical symbols including Framed Circle, Rectangle DL 24x4, and Circle DL 12 to the symbol library.

  • Added dedicated parameters for CommunityName, CompanyName, RegionName, DivisionName, and PhaseName , so that it’s easier to report out specific location data in your drawings. Renamed the existing CommunityName parameter to CurrentLocationName for clarity.

  • Added support for custom tags on Electrical Controllers, and a new Dimmer Switch type for electrical plans.

  • Changed the copy command to continuous-only mode by removing the mode dropdown, and updated Escape/Cancel to stop the command while preserving already-applied pastes.

Improved Location Archiving

  • Admins can now archive and unarchive locations directly, without requiring Higharc admin access. The new "Archive and unarchive locations" permission is on by default for the built-in Admin role and off for all other roles. This gives teams more control over location management without escalating to Higharc support.

Fixes

  • Fixed the Option Catalog CSV export to show the human-readable sales category name instead of an internal code.

🔄 Integrations

  • Added a homePlanIds array to the GET /customers and GET /customers/:id API responses, allowing customers to be directly linked to their associated home plans.
