Higharc Release Notes

✏️ For Design & Drafting

Floor Assemblies & Components are moving to Catalogs Tab in the Explorer

  • Floor Assemblies and Floor Components have been moved from Global Settings to Catalogs. This is similar to other catalog items that have recently been migrated, like Foundation Assemblies.

  • Like Foundations, Floor Assemblies can now be grouped in the explorer. The group inspector includes search, sort, and filters. Users can also now see usages of particular floor assemblies, making it easier to understand how they are utilized in the file.

Level Datum Anchors Renamed for Clarity

  • We’ve renamed the anchors that are available to Level Datums in improve clarity about their usages.

  • These level datums are relative to a level, not edge, or floor, so we’ve added Level as a prefix to the names to make this more clear and prepare us for additional future changes to datums.

  • Likewise the previous “Ceiling Height” anchor was renamed “Level Top of Wall” to set us up for future improvements to walls and datums.

Master and Location Plan Archiving

  • Master and location-level plans can now be archived. Archiving a plan hides it from the selection menu when creating new home plans, reducing the likelihood of generating home plans with outdated data. Unlike deleting, archiving master and location plans will not delete the home plans tied to them.

  • To archive a master plan, go to Plan Library → click the three dot menu next to the plan to archive —> click “Archive Plan.” Archived plans will then be hidden from the Plan Library, Location Plan tabs and the home plan creation menu.

  • Clicking the “Include Archived Plans” toggle will show hidden master plans and allow unarchiving.

  • Archiving a plan cascades to child locations. In other words, if the Ambrosia plan is archived at the Division level, all community-level versions of the Ambrosia will also be archived.

Move Home Plans Between Locations

Home Plans can now be moved between Locations, for all accounts, regardless of whether or not Custom Hierarchy is enabled. Here’s how it works:

  1. Open up the “three dots” menu from the Home Plans table and look for the “Move Home Plan” option:

  2. Select a new Location to move the Home Plan into:

  3. Select a new Location Plan to have the Home Plan inherit from:

  4. Review pricing and option selection changes. This step is important, because you have the option to change option choices if you aren’t satisfied with the defaults from the new parent Location Plan:

  5. That’s it! You’ll see an event in the Home Plan’s activity feed indicating that it was moved. Click the “Details” button to see what changed:
