We're excited to share the latest Higharc release! Built with your feedback in mind, this update delivers a range of improvements that make the platform smoother, smarter, and more responsive. Whether you're a regular or occasional user, we think you’ll notice the difference.
And this is just the start—we’re planning to deliver similar sets of updates throughout the year to keep improving your experience.
Here’s what we improved:
✏️ For Design & Drafting
Studio Navigation Improvements
You can now toggle between canvas view tabs by clicking (SHIFT+➡️) & (SHIFT+⬅️)
We can now pin options and option categories to the top of the Active Options panel. This makes for much quicker toggling between certain options while working.
We improved Spotlight Search by making it movable. You can now drag it around the canvas.
UI Updates
Facade Finish and Trim inspector has switched to a modal for each in lieu of a new inspector. This now lets users keep focus on facade inspector, reorder items, see inactive entities, and open a flyout for quickly scanning content.
Added units to measurement fields in all of the Wall Assembly Operators Inspectors. These are always located on the room edge.
Renamed the 'Openings tab' in the Roof Inspector to 'Skylights'.
Edge Numbers are now shown on stair shapes when selected.
Improved Modifier workflow!
When creating a new CMU slab foundation component in your Foundation Catalog, you can now give exact CMU width dimension.

Fixes!!
Prop vertical offset is now inheriting correctly from the catalog item. Previously it was overriding the vertical offset to 0" when placed in the room.

The behavior of the Blue Studio banner at the top of the canvas has been updated. It was not responding well to narrow canvas views.
